When my dad was in treatment for a difficult-to-treat cancer, we spent summer evenings stargazing in a tent in my parents' backyard. My dad had a stem cell replacement and was immunocompromised so we avoided people and crowds for years -- during the 2020 lockdowns, we stargazed from separate tents!
One summer we were lying on our air mattresses (he, in his reclining folding chair) and at the very same moment all five of us (my parents, myself, my husband and our son) all gazed in the same direction and witnessed what's called a fireball -- a 'very' bright meteor. Each one of us felt something so very special had happened -- that we should all have the shared experience of witnessing it at the same time (together). ♡

What a blessed moment to experience with your family! Thank you for sharing, Jessica!
I've seen a couple driving along I-81 late at night. They are so truly awesome!
